Morning Redz,
Yeah man its very very clever stuff, if you think about it though it all makes alot of sense. Deffo gonna plant the cover crop (top dressed with neem meal) but then chop it when I plant my girl and have a decaying mulch, do you put barley straw on straight after you chop the cover crop and plant the bean ?

I have found that my cover crop helps prevent unwanted pests, like fungus gnats. I was having problems with them until I planted a thick cover crop of rye grass. I trimm the rye grass just below the cannabis. I let the cannabis plants choke out the cover crop with it's thick canopy when the time comes. No need to do it myself. One video is a couple grows ago when I got ride of them. The other is the start of my current grow. I like the rye grass because it is tall and thick, which makes me think it is more difficult for pests to reach the soil. Plus it grows quick and requires weekly trimming creating alot of mulch.

I have been thinking about adding white clover as a cover crop. A couple of things though,if white clover adds extra nitrogen to the soil could that not become a problem when switching too flower? I saw it used on a video of Oregon farm, their plants looked very healthy. Also I understand that we need bacteria to grow but can the mulch from clover form harmful moulds? These are the 2 questions I need answering before I go ahead and include it.
