coco is about you feeding everything they need, you must controlling every thing from day 1 to chop
in a good soil, the soil does all the hard work for you

the dark waxy leaves is a sign they are eating lots of nitrogen
as they grow/develope that nitrogen in the soil gets used then you can feed if/when needed

    Update...

So two waterings later... one of the plants has gone back to normal, with a lot of yellowing leaves so I guess I can feed again soon. But the other one is still showing the curled up leaves with massive yellowing off as if there was no food... I?m still confused

the damaged leaves wont revert back, the damage has been done, you need to look at the new growth instead

They weren?t yellowing before mate, it?s not previously damaged leaves... it?s literally just been after the last watering all the leaf tips are still curled up but other leaves have started yellowing as if the plant was hungry

It has just occurred to me you may have meant the leaf tips that have turned upwards won?t revert back to normal because the damage is done... I didn?t realise the curling was damage, because none of it?s actually dead or dying just looks spiky

On the coco, one of the two still has spiked leaves and this last watering her bigger fan leaves have all started yellowing. I’ll get some photos tomorrow night, I’m shattered right now lol.

I have noticed sometimes when I water my coco girls, once the runoff comes out it can be slightly dark. As if there was either dust from the coco coming through the fabric or a lot of nutrient buildup... or is this normal?

I haven’t fed the PH Perfect for coco to the verve, but I did ask on here and a few people said it would be fine because the soil acts as a buffer but the leaves have been so dark I’ve been giving just water. Last night I added 1ml/litre bud factor X to try get some extra oils into the buds, but it doesn’t seem to have bothered her so far (the bud factor isn’t PH Perfect though)

So here’s the photos, you can still see the tips on the leaves are still pointing upwards...
Not sure why though, not had feed for about a week but still looks as bad as when she was fed...

Hello mate, if those leaves are paling inbetween the veins it is the start of a zinc def along with nitrogen toxicity which can then lock out other nutes. You may benefit from a low ec feed allowing for a very large runoff to eliminate any toxic salt build up. Setting the ph to 5.8-5.9 may also help.
