LED grow,late stage flower
Im on day 77,very late stage flower with a critical auto. I have a horrible feeling my buds are starting to foxtail from the side of the bud,(my camera is nowhere near good enough to pick this up but the calyxes are starting to stack and elongate with new white hairs.Doesnt look too serious yet but its not happened on any other plants ive grown before.) I moved the LED lights further away and have even just switched the 'veg light' off and just have them under the red 'bloom lights'. I would chop them but i still have some clear trich's, what should I do? Should I just chop them anyway so the foxtailing doesnt get any worse and the THC doesnt degrade anymore or try and see them out a little longer so all the trich's go milky?

Id just let em finish mate. From what I've read foxtailing isn't such an issue unless you're chasing pretty buds

Let it foxtail, just more weed on the bud.

Its very early stages if it is foxtailing, my only worry was that i read somewhere that it lessons the THC content but even if it was the case, she's only got a week or two left anyway. If she gets too bad in that time,i'll chop her anyway. Cheers fellas

I love fox tails
As long as the calyxes are still producing resin you are good to go. The THC will not change unless you go past the breeders flowering date. I myself love fox tailing plants! This plant had the smell of oranges, and was very potent! I think it was so potent because of the FoX tailing!

My last grow, fox tail the last two weeks, and the sizzors would stick to me while trimming. I do believe the THC does increase after a good few weeks of foxtailing. JMO

it happens because she didn't reproduce, won't hurt yield or potency
relax and let her do her thing
