I leave lights on 24 hours in veg, temps are more constant and internodes stay really tight, I?ve tried both ways and definitely prefer to leave lights on 24 hours.

But more than one way to skin a cat and what works for some won?t work for another, I?ve always been curious of the gas light routine ( is that the right term) think it?s 12 on 5 1/2 off 1/2 on 5 1/2 off.....

Sure there?s been a diary in here before of someone doing it.

I?m not sure it would save me too much electric anyway, I always have heaters turning on when my lights turn off as I like to keep the dif quite close.

During the winter months i run my lights 20/4 with my auto's but the summer months can be a pain in the ass coping with the heat,(even with LED's) so i ran them 18/6, with the 6hr off period during the hottest part of the day.
