Default Rhino pro long and smells

So on my first grow I suffered with smell outside the groom, running a new rhino pro 8" long filter way big enough for my groom well it should be, so I assumed my ducting was leaking but had no way of getting to the filter and sorting with it being rammed there so finished the grow shitting myself about the smell, so now on my second grow I re did the ducting moved the fan into the room so it's now filter- fan -duct and made sure it was all sealed good, but still got the problem and now I'm in late flower it's really stinking is it possible the filter is a duff? Or the only other thing is my intake is in the bathroom and when showering it spikes to 80+rh only for literally the 5mins I'm in there then drops would this kill it?
So went back to the grow shop today they wouldn't even consider a faulty filter said it's unheard of. I came away with a carboair 60 is this brand any good? Only problem is I can't get to change it until this grow is down so I was thinking of sticking it on the other end and blowing through it until this one has finished problem is there is then going to be a filter on both sides of the fan not sure it can take it but they are both high m3 flow filters, any thoughts and opinions appreciated

    Cheers

when you go over 70%+rH the carbon filter is also absorbing all that moisture so it can't work properly,
yes it can shorten there life greatly mate, try and let it dry out if it's an option 4u

you can use the cF either way, whatever works the best for your setup mate,
no wonder it was leaking smell at 80%rH

haven't used carbonAir so can't comment on it,

I used a 4'' Rhino pro for a year and suffered from smells pretty bad, i was not impressed. Ive switched to a mountain air and have had no issues since, great filters.

Iv always been under the impression rhino pro were the best you could get mate. High humidity will deffo shorten the life of it though. Why don’t you get a small dehumidifier in the groom to finish up? I wouldn’t wanna risk bud rot personally after all the effort

I got a dehumidifier groom sits at 40% all the time apart from a few mins a day when I'm in the shower then it drops straight back to 40% soon as I'm done in there

Also slowing the fan spees down will help the charcoal scrub the smell better i have found. I use mountain air filters now crackin filters decent price.

I am using my 2nd Rhino Pro. The first one was just a year old and my tent is proper tiny. The second one is having minor smell leaks but the plant is smelly.

When I change it I will probably not be using Rhino Pro again.

Or I might join you in the No-Bathing Squad.
