p.p.s. I have learned the comfrey being impossible to get rid off the hard way and won't be planting it in any raised beds ever again
Thats fine for the pumkin bed coz I will just keep chopping it back for mulch and then plant some wild flowers in there after I chop pumpkin to attract predatory insects. I want the supply of comfrey.

I wont be planting comfrey in the veg beds or patches.

I showed this to my girlfriend. She smacked some sense into me. I will be bowing out of this one. Hopefully i will be out of the city and back to a house with a yard soon.

I know the feeling. Threw some mouldy potatoes out into an old vegetable bed a while back. Now there's hundreds of the things every year.. Can't get rid of them. At least I can eat a lot of mash when I want to..

If something takes over you can always plant an even more invasive plant

As long as something is edible or otherwise useful it's not a big problem is it?
