Hi curious, yea, I was sort of working on half a meter - some people get 16+ plants in a 1m setup doing sog - might have been a bit keen lol

I've been looking at returns based on experience.
A master grower can hit 1g per Wat on 1 plant, a good grower will hit 1g per Wat on 2 to 4 plants and a novice can hit .5g per Wat based on max plant numbers, so I sort of worked back - so if I'm aiming at 250-300g 4 plants would be 70g per plant and that sounds very optimistic - does that make sense?

Not sure what headroom you mean mate. Boards or strips are very low profile. Have a look at our sponsor Invisible Sun. Growers are constitantly seeing 1+gpw. Very competitive and wouldnt of thought they cost much more than hps, ballast & bulbs. Any difference would be made up first grow.

I'd go with 4 3 gallon pots in that space if I were growing autos bit that's just me and I've never done sog. Like Gaz, I also have a bespoke QB light. Mine takes up about an inch of height so freed up about 8 inches where my old reflectors hung. Lots of fun to build too.

Also, maybe check out the mountain air filters... Been hearing more and more that they're better than rhino pro's.

You mention intake is from outside, is you tent going in a room, attic or outbuilding? Just wondering about temps as running heaters is prob my biggest cost being in a cold room.

In that space i tried to do 4 and it was too many lool, Even 3 pissed me off with space issues so you aint going to be doing 9. I got 4inch fan and filter in 1mx1m tent and its perfect.

As others have said, room is definitely going to be your enemy, i have the same size tent and grow 2 auto's at a time in 15l pots and they fill out big time! Especially if you want to fit anything else in the tent like fan/small heater/de/humidifier etc. Good luck with your grow though!
