Customization is one of the benefits of self build. I have my epicenter and top up tank offset to the left by a few metres in a different room.

50 litre blue barrel tubs, 190 litre blue barrel top up tank.

Yeah that’s why I’m thinking the 2.4 will give me that bit extra space to stick the epicentre out of the way of the lights.

I can’t wait to get up and running, need to start buying bits. How many air stones do you have in each pot, I thought about 2x100mm discs....would that be enough or would 1 be enough ?

I have very small airstones, TBH I don't think I need them at all. I have chiller so as not to get root rot and have spray bars for feed line, creates all the oxygen needed. Stones can't hurt tho.

I run 3 gavs, 750w But stay at 600 in summer, sometimes 400

They go through my feed pipe where I drilled small holes, so they spray on top of the water, as the tanks fill up the feed just returns back to the feed tank though the 40mm return pipes at the bottom of each pot

Get it have you got two pumps running then so it’s forced out like a spray on top then pumped back?

One pump for pushing the feed in the weight of the water forces it back.
