    Default Fan Controller

Hey guys, I know most of you will say "both" but I want to fit a fan controller on one of my RVK's, I'm guessing the extraction is the best bet?

    Thanks in advance guys

    Defo both. Sorry.

But, if you just put it on your extraction, when it drops the speed only the extraction will drop but the intake will keep blowing at full blast.

So you’d create positive pressure and smell leaks.

Maybe wire an extention lead to the controller and plug in both to the extention?. Just make sure intake fan is a lesser fan than extract fan is

Agree with the above. Could try passive intakes till you get both fans on a controller perhaps. I'm new to growing tho so there's probably a flaw in that plan I'm not seeing too

Yes i have my both rvk.s 5 in 6 out both in to a rino controller and it seems to do the job ... its at sleep time inotice the change ...its less than at full blast with a 600w and 350 cdm but only set to half speed for 1st 6 weeks then need it cranked up so no aroma escapes.....

Both..I run an 8” in and 10” out on a rhino fan controller. Has in and out and temp control..they’re only cheap. Not brilliant but one you get it dialed in it works just fine with 2 600 hps. Just a bit noisy at night like you say!

Be careful with a cheap plug in fan controler my good friend ...i had a fire in my groom a few yrs ago ..it was ablack plug in with a wheel with 0 to 10 on it ..even the rhino controlers have a few diferent sizes according to the sizes your reducing the speed on .... so be careful the cheap plug ins are crap ..

Check with a hydro shop ..let um know the size and make of your 2 fans and amps ..they will know which model rhino you need... but my advise stay away from the 10a cheapys ...i was just lucky i was in the groom trimming abit when i smelt it burning ..they dont like turning them down ...take care my friend ...
