Thanks Gardro for the thread!! That info takes know how to understand and kickass communication skills to convey, and you have delivered that by the lorry load. Thank you so much.

This is seriously good news for me as the blurple light keeps my plant squat and for a puny grow, they are just perfect.

Have a search on a guy on YouTube called Scoobysworkshop. He's a fitness guy and he has a thread on using a Meizhi (or similar) to add blue spectrum to his house lights to combat SAD, that winter depression. Would be interesting if that household used Seasonal Affective Disorder as their excuse for the blurple lights...

Yeah I've seen a few, it's just that I specifically want a red/far red boost on its own to supplement the whites I already have, and I'm a bit limited for space you could say. Haven't seen anything appropriate yet, but I could hold off and wait a bit I guess.

Budmaster used to make a red-mix lamp. Supposedly has the "Emerson Effect", never tried it myself though. Their website is a bit incomplete, best to give them a ring and speak to them. They're a good bunch.

Great minds Valentina, we were only just talking about the emerson effect the other day, lastrebel and I. Thanks for pointing out the light, I will have a look as im interested in the ratio of reds they've selected.
