    Default Autoflower newbie! Help

Hey guys , I have grown for years but now I am looking to start autoflowers

    Basic information

    1 x 1 meter square tent
    400w hps
    Soil

Looking for information on correct pot size for a 60 day auto flower

I have been told 7 litres is ideal

    Also the lighting ? 18/6?

Is the nutrients the same timing etc as when I done feminised 12/12?

Last thing is am looking for a autoflower that could give me 1 oz a plant in 60 days ..

Any information is greatly appreciated as like I said av never done auto flowers only normal for past 10 years

    Cheers sean

Welcome brother, with auto's your lighting can be 18/6 20/4 or even 24/0 i've used 11lr pots on auto's and got some good results with them and with auto's you sow the seeds straight into their final pots, other than telling you they can be pretty fickle that's about my total knowledge on them, we have guys on here that grow nothing but auto's like M.C i'm quite sure one or two of them will be along shortly with more advice than i can give, it would be a good idea to list your equipment here, ie' tent size, lighting, extraction, what medium you'll be growing in etc', also have a look through some of the guys auto diaries you can learn a lot that way, i wish you luck on your auto venture, all the best mukka, G'.

No where near knowledgeable than many on here but in my experience, 20/4 or 24hr lighting is what Ive found works best. Some grow in smaller pots but to be honest, all of the auto's ive grown were in 15l fabric pots and even then, because i top and LST them, they really fill out and i'd struggle to use anything smaller. I like to keep things simple so just use the OT range of grow, bloom and pk 4-8 and have had good results. Best of luck with your grow.

Just my experience with soil and auto's is don't go less than 10 litre tubs whatever you grow
For short 10 week life autos 10 litre is sweet but some 15-week plants have choked in the 10l size so 15 litre pot was better if you get me

I have only ever grown autos and have found that the larger the pot the better. My last grow was in a 8ltr pot and it failed to the point I threw it and started again, not saying that it was down to the pot size but it was the first time I used smaller pots.

I have an auto diary up your more than welcome to follow along. I am no expert but its a good way to learn as I did reading through others.

Use airpots, definitely worth the price.

I use the 3ltr ones for 4 autos.
