Default Answered: Safe to strip fan leaves?

Hey all, as some of you may know, I've just had a plant that's suffered rot and has now been chopped.
My other plant is about 2 to 3 weeks from being done (it's an auto on day 86) and is looking nice and healthy still. She is however very bushy so I'm wondering... is it safe for me to strip a shitload of fan leaves at this time to create space in the canopy for better air circulation?

    Anyone care to weigh in?

I often tend to do this towards the end of flowering for exactly the reasons you mention, better air circulation

Make sure the colas ain’t touching, with defoliation it’s all good tomove a leaf if the leave underneath has more surface area available to light then it’s worth removing that leaf, threre solar panels at the end of the day!

I've got 3 that have grown in a bit of a cluster in the middle. I'll see if I can pry them apart with some stakes or training wire or something. Cheers dude

Mate be careful before you start stripping fan leaves back in flower, it creates a wound and this is where the rot can start, so if that leaf has a stem that goes right to the centre of a big bud it needs air to heal and it won’t be getting any.....
    So do this with caution.

I cut the leaves back so they don’t take up as much room hence allowing better air circulation and more light to the rest of the plant.
It’s worked for me and stopped my bud rot because I suffered a few times, it was a nightmare.

    Peace out!
