Thread: am i being stupid or am I missing something?

    Default am i being stupid or am I missing something?

    as I said I don't know if I'm being stupid or I'm missing something but I'm trying to set up new light I bought a lumii black ballast a omega 600w dual spectrum bulb I have just came to set up and realised there only 2 kettle lead connections on the ballast I've only grown led before so I'm totally clueless haha I've added some pictures so show what I got. 3rd photo is the kettle lead coming put from the light unit

    sorry for the silly question but I'm stuck haha

    A reflector buddy with the e46 socket thingy that plugs into the ballast then the ballast plugs into wall

    As Amnesia says, you need the reflector or cool hood with the correct fitting. Most HPS reflectors have the same fitting.

    You can get them on Ebay for £15.

    that's the bit that goes into back of the reflector and has like a 10ft kettle lead, do i need a different light then ??? I got this one for free ages ago and thought I would give a go, I have realised I always spend more then what I estimate hahaha

    Ughhh, it's not pre wired... your gonna have to wire it yourself mate does one of them leads have 3 wires on the end? If so that's where they need to go lol

    What type of plug is on the end of the cord coming from the hood?
