That said, depending on where in the UK you are, it's quite possible that you'll just get a young PC around (if at all) to look in rooms and cupboards and then feck off. In my only experience of such things, there was absolutely no way that the cop would have thought of looking in the roof space. He wrote Peace Lily in his book.
