I've recently, well over a year now been growing in batmix soil and starting cuttings off in a light mix.
I just hate waste and after listening to peeps chucking there soil in the bin and a good friend of mine chucking it in the canal a thought there's gotta be a better way .
Now I'm no reds or a organic magician but I like organic so to keep things simple I've looked asked different peeps for different advice.
So to revive a old soil this is what I've added
Eco thrive charge
Eco thrive biosys
Kelp meal
Neem meal
Krill meal
Basalt
I've also added around 10% perlite
The total amount of soil was around 25 ltrs and everything other than the perlite was added at a cup full . I've actually mixed four lots of 25 ltrs
The soil then was well mixed and has a lovely earthy smell to it , especially after the krill meal was mixed through which smells like the ocean .
It's then been watered slightly covered up and left in the flower room .
I'll be using it on my next run of plants which have not been decided on yet but I'm spoiled for choice after receiving a generous donation of seeds from a old member of here , who's also a long time friend who's stopped growing to chase a professional life of wearing a suit, and thank you Donmitch .
