just bought this light for vegging looking to veg about 6 under it would this be big enough to use ?

This really is a ideal lamp to start seedlings and cuttings off under it but once they become small plants I'd suggest something a little stronger


in a green and pleasant land

You could get 6 under it but 2 weeks or so into veg, they would be outgrowing the space, better for seedlings and upto about week one IMO

wanting it just to veg 6 under for 4 weeks getting them to knee height then going under 3 hps 600 lights.

There's nothing wrong with the t5 for veg ,I do 90% of my veg work using them ,and I've kept plants under them for 35 weeks plus...the problem with them is they are slow,but that suits me as I have separate veg and flower rooms

If you are veging in the same space you plan to flower in then veg the 6 under a 600w

I usually veg under a 600 but just setup a veg room in a cupboard so just wanting a veg light with low heat? Then I'll transfer into flower room

Then then t5 sounds the ticket ,I run 2 x 2ft units each have 4x24w bulbs...I run them 24/7 with no dark period
