    Default Little black flies

    Evening stoners.
Noticed last night when feeding the girls that out of all 5 plants, only the one seems to have a few little black flies on/around her. Managed to kill most that I seen. I’m in week 3 of flower 12/12. Should I be worried? Havent noticed anything wrong with the plants though..

Let the soil dry out. Leave an extra day between watering. That will kill the babies. Get sticky fly traps to get thr adults.

A layer of sharp sand on top of the soil will help too

I battled with fungus gnat larvae and thrips larvae in the soil for a long time. The sticky traps, infrequent watering and diatomaceous earth on top of pots helped but did not get rid of them. Beneficial nematodes finally cleared them out for me.

It is best to use all 3. The sticky traps attract the adult fliers. The DE keeps the thrips larve from dropping from the leaves to the soil and also stops the adult gnats from laying eggs in the soil. The nematodes kill the larvae in the soil.
