Default Gaz builds an igloo ;)

As the title says lol, could I have a recommendation for a extraction. I plan to use kingspan and silicon to form the groom between the trusses. Needs to be silent!!! Or at least not noticeable to next door lol

Forgot the kingspan boards and go for rock wool and plasterboard. Much better at soundproofing and fire retardant. Them boards are to compressed for decent sound proofing and the noise travels through them easily because of them being solid. Decided which is the coolest place within the eves or fascia and drag your air in from there .
Keep the questions coming gaz .
I'll help as much as possible

    Morning BG

Thank you mate, your groom is awesome so Id be very grateful for the help mate.

Cool thats sound better, I will use plasterboard and rockwool then, Im planning to just use the two LED lights I have and put a heater in the groom. I will maybe change or add to lights later but new lights aint doable at the minute.
My main issue is the extraction fan. What do you use BG?

Probably be a 3 plants groom given my loft space. Wifes sick of the cabs in the bedroom

You could get a rcd protected extension lead . I've always ran a mains cable but at the time I was using 2no 600hps plus loads of other equipment. With the LED's I think a extension lead is ok

Excellent thats a big relief lol thanks BG lights are less than 150 watts combined so the big draw really will be the heater and extraction lol

    Thanks mate
I've always ran extraction but never had a intake fan and I work on the logical that what gets sucked out must get sucked in . I've always split my intake one low down and one high up . The high up one draws cold air in which naturally drops through the warm air creating movement.
Think about it why is air conditioning always up high ?

I brought the largest fan I could afford and run it on a controller.
