Post BOOKS: Ed Rosenthal's Growers Handbook vs. Jorge Cervantes' Encyclopedia???

I'm planning to order a nice cannabis book and was wondering if anyone here has both Ed Rosenthal's Marijuana Growers Handbook and Jorge Cervantes' The Cannabis Encyclopedia and would like to hear which one they think is best.

Leaning towards ordering Ed's boo, based on nothing more but a gut feeling and that it's about 75% the price of the other one as well but thought to ask opinions here first.

If anyone knows any other must have books that could be considered to be Bibles in this field then I'm curious to hear that as well.

I own both Cleargreen and quite honestly in my opinion you would not go wrong with either purchase, both are very informative and cover the subject very well..I would not be able to choose between them if I had to pick one to take with me for good reading, so I would shut my eyes and just pick up whichever came to hand lol.

The Cannabis Encyclopedia was published in 2015, whilst the Marijuana Growers Handbook was published in 2010.

If you want to go for the cheapest of the books then go for it..you won't regret it

Came across this review and it sounds like a very dry read:

"In Jeff Lowenfels’ Teaming with Nutrients: the Organic
Gardener’s Guide to Optimizing Plant Nutrition (250 pp,
Timber Press, 2013), there’s little grist for teaming or
guiding, and its audience is more likely chemists and
    horticulturalists, not organic gardeners.
Seven of the 10 chapters describe in highly technical
language the anatomy and physiology of plants and plant
cells; the chemistry of plants, nutrients, soil and water; and
their movements into and out of plants.
Only in the last two chapters (chapter 8 covers soil
testing) does Lowenfels turn to matters gardeners can
control – temperature, pH, soil aeration, soil composition
and moisture, as affecting nutrient uptake, and, in chapter
10, fertilizers – but even here there’s not much guidance or
    strategy for teaming. "

I'm guessing you can get all the applicable information from either youtube videos or podcasts??
