There are some worrying black areas on them mites,

There is generally a degree of mite life in soil Ive noticed but mainly they are harmless scavengers or even beneficial mites. Anyone growing in soil go stare at your soil real close and I expect you'd see one or two.

The double black dot of the spider mite is not a good sight at all and I suggest some pest management of some kind. Do you have a loupe to see if they have the double black. Spot. Pest identification is very difficult man.

A good IPM routine is always the best prevention/cure. Ive noticed that the scavengers/benificials can be white or brown but never black spots and they move real fast lol. They generally survive neem spray IPM in small numbers as well. Redz can tell you what they are called lol I cant remember how to spell it lol. You get the odd one on the plant but they tend to stay in the soil.

    Either way, meht...get rid.

Whatever the fuck they are, you definitely don't need them in there this early in the grow.

Yeah deffo spray down with neem man amd reduce the numbers, you probably wont eradicate them entirely, or I never have but they are likely ok mate.
