    Default What’s the HPS equivalent?

Hey everyone, random question I probably should’ve checked before buying the lights... what is the equivalent in HPS lighting? I’ve got these

    Invisible sun ISH170 Pro kit - 2 x ISH150 85w Horticultural boards.
I have checked the site but the description doesn’t say what it’s equivalent too and I have no idea how to work it out. Cheers

Thanks matey, don’t know if you know how much yield I’ll lose if I use these lights instead of my 400w HPS?

You could get 1.5*170w = 255grams under the led

The hps might give you 0.8*400 = 320g

    So you may lose 65g

    Obvs thats all theoretical

Cheers mate, I’m thinking about switching from the led to Hps for the last month - 3 weeks of flower... do you think it would make a difference or would it shock the plants?

Do it all the time, never notice the plants getting stress. This had 8 weeks of 220W, and finish off with 5 more weeks, with 400W.

Thanks buddy, will probably do that then! Does it make much of a difference after adding the HPS?

Of course, any time you trade out 220 for 400W, you will be gaining some weight.

Yeah mate, I just meant more was it noticeable by eye? I’ll probably use it even if not but trying to get a feel for how they’ll go
