    Lightbulb Remote High Temp Alerts

    Hi All,

I’ve had a scout about the forums but can’t seem to find the following -

Any good recommendations on how to “cheaply” set up an alert on yer phone, loud/persistent enough to wake you if the grow zone overheats??

Im planning to run 1000w HPS through the night you see...

    Any suggestions would be fantastic

    Thanks!!!

An AirComfort will do this once you set the ranges for temp and humidity and turn auto download on.

Hang on - will pop some pics on...

Lovely little device. I couldn't possibly say how I acquired mine but it's an anagram of Cretes Satan.

I see quite a few tents on here with one.

35 notes, year of battery, nice and accurate.

I use Ubibot - very similar.

It monitors Temp, Humidity, Lighting and Voltage amongst other things. (Voltage is useful for power cut detection).

I can set alarms on the app, and can monitor remotely. It will sms/email/in app alert.

Combined with smart plugs I can switch stuff off / on remotely. Saves me going in the groom all the time.

Yours looks way cooler than any I’ve seen mate, got a buddy who has a pulse sensor... tells him how much light his plants get, Max/min temps and humidity with free app and tech support for life... only problem is they are rather expensive at £170, definitely one of the cheaper options... seen some crazy ones at over £900

I don’t have one but it’s on me list... here’s some pics from their site

If the temperature has overheated then something has gone wrong or grow room wasnt set up right.

What if you dont wake up? Battery flat?

    Thanks guys, very useful!!

I do have an emergency high temp cut-off already, but it just nice to know you will get a heads up remotely and can log into the cams wherever you may be.

I see the ubibot has IFTTT which is what I’ve been looking at to send out alerts..

Only thing I’m have issues with really is getting something to actually make my iPhone ring loud enough to wake me up.

Annoyingly the notifications are quiet and quite passive...
