It helps if you give it a bit of a sharp tug at the same time as depressing the connector. It's finicky as fook.

if you twist the wire while pulling it comes straight out

Thanks I tried all those tips and the only thing that worked was me losing the plot and yanking the fucking wire out the connector then punching a hole in a wall.

Fur fcuk sake.
