    Default QB question

Im running a ISH150 Pro, now i have the tools and watt reader, ive been running it at max which reads as 192w at 30'' away. Now, should i just keep it as it is or turn the watts down and run them closer to the plants? Growing 2 auto's and they are only 11 days old but are growing quick.

I'm sure you would be able to run it with less watts and lower it but I can't advise you, I have one of my boards running at 90w about 22 inches away at day 15

If your plants are healthy and doing fine leave the light where it is on full power,30 in is the height that mine are at.
    It's nice to be nice.

Does the warranty allow for 192w? How hot are the leds?

Your putting over 600w metal halide on 11 day seedlings to answer the question.

I had/have no idea!? I got the light 2nd hand so imagine the warranty is null and void. What would you recommend i do?

ID:	371771 The driver is different from the one that IS sells with the kit, original owner bought this one with it. The lights do run pretty hot, had problems in the beginning with the heat, i detached the driver fro the QB and is now much cooler. But any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im not worried about you claiming mate im concerned youre running above what the company warrants. Failed leds and much worse can follow.

That 240w driver is a contstant voltage type which could send 240w worth of amps right through your (150w) board in the event of a failure and that would be nice and pyrotechnic.

Id run the board at no more than the specified max, do check but think its 150w.

Its a false economy to over drive leds. The efficiency drops down to hid levels....
