PPM meters?
Hey guys so this PPM thing is confusing not sure what would be best to order. So there are 2 scales PPM500 and PPM700 now you want one that will measure both scales right? But then there are also some meters that say 0-1999 but from what i read it says you want one that is 0-2000 will 1 point make much of a difference? any body want to recamend one what does every one use? Oh the grow will be in DWC hydro set up
Forget PPM meters unless they are prepared to be upfront & tell you what PPM scale they are using before buying, as often the accompanying literature will not mention it... An EC meter is a much safer buy...

Ok I had to watch the video twice the guy talks quick but it makes a lot of sense to forget the conversions and just use EC numbers... thanks
We tend to find EC easier here... but I will do the conversion for PPM so long as I have a scale to work with.... otherwise it's kinda guess workOriginally Posted by dbreeze
