    And it will be set to a temp controller to come on as soon as it hits 27 degrees

    Reducing the plant numbers would require less light & therefore less heat. This is the cheapest option available to you....

    My new aircon system was working miracles till I walked in today and the room was so hot it was blowing warm air. I have to bring the light down to 250w each to keep it manageable.

    Few plants still growing nice while I got 3 that seem to have stunted and haven't grown in a month. Unsure what's up with them.

    Only a few days old and already blowing warm air. I hope they exchange it for you. Cheap ac I expect 1 full season.

    make huge ice cubes using a washing up bowl in an empty freezer drawer space

    I second that, or run photos in the summer, specifically flower during July & August.

    Easier said than done though, plants do have a mind of their own to a degree, and I probably have a similar issue coming up

    HOWEVER....
