Default Answered: Epsom salt foliar spray

Hey everyone, finally managed to get some Epsom salts from boots. I checked the back and it says pharmaceutical grade salts, so I presume these are good enough quality for the plants...

My question is, what ratio should I be using for the foliar spray? I’ve got some plants that are very hungry for mag in case that means it needs to be stronger...

    Thanks in advance
here’s some pics if it helps

Nice one Itslittyofc , glad you managed to get some in ..

I personally add around a tablespoon per 5 litres of water, some like to use 2 tablespoons per 5, but as I always say it's best to start slowly, access their reaction and go from there

You're welcome mate, go with Bud Lightyear's recommended dose even though both recommendations are very close (3 teaspoons make up one tablespoon), his would be the one to go for and you'll be golden

To be absolutely honest with you mate, I've never PH'd this ...BUT, just to cover all angles, and since it won't hurt to do it, then go for it bud, will give you peace of mind.

5.8 and 6.4 sounds good mate, some say new research suggests 5.8 - 6.3 but 6.4 will be good too in my opinion
