Default Answered: Some questions about res.

Hi everybody hope were all off and chilling with s big fat spliff today.

Got a couple of questions regarding a homemade resovoir. Was thinking of a 15 litre bucket and this auto watering system from amazon.
I'm only feeding one plant so don't need alot of water it's more so I can feed twice a day easier...

I Would be refreshing the bucket every 2 days so would I need a airstone in the rez as I'm using canna coco A+B? Or can they stand for 48 hours mixed in a bucket?

Pics of the auto irrigation system.

Any advice regarding coco or managing nutes in a small res would be greatly appreciated. Cheers for looking in.

So ya will have to keep this in check. The bigger the res the less ya will have to mess with it . Ya also want to keep res temps in check

Cheers BG the res will be outside the tent going to insulate it anyways to be safe though. The biggest I can manage res wise is a 15L bucket as I'm tight for space so would it just be a matter of checking the res ph/EC every night. Might be simpler mixing fresh nutes every night I suppose lol.

Once ya set it up you will learn more about its limitations.
Set it up at 1st not connected to the system but have the air stone running. Set ya ec and ph to where you would want it .
24 hrs later see where the ph is sitting.
If the ph is lower you know now to set the ph to its highest level of 6.2 .
Leave the system running again for another 24hrs and see where it's sat . If the ph hasn't gone lower than the 5.8 ya in the right ballpark. Now do this again but this time empty half the res out , just like it's been feeding the plants.
So ya start will a full tank and ph set to ya golden point. Take half the water out of the res and check again after 24 hrs , with less water in the tank the ph might drift quicker and then ya will know what ya are up against and now how often ya will have to check things.
