Hey all, this is my Orange bud auto, in coco, under 600w HPS.
Background EC is low, somewhere under 0.4 (that's as low as my EC wand goes. Currently being fed With A+B at 1.2 and ph 5.8. Temps 29oC lights on, 19oC off. Humidity 52-56.

It's not the lower or sugar leaves, just the small fans amongst the buds. Not sure wether to up her feed or if it's something else maybe?

  2. "Stats look good...You have a similar background Ec to me mines 0.5 I rarely go above 1.2 but you can get a greedy plant that wants more though...Give the next couple of feeds @ 1.4 up the pH to 6.1 and see how the plant responds to that...Are you water/feeding daily with plenty of run off ?

Edit...It does look hungry using up its stored nitrogen.

    Regards BL"

I agree. They look happy and slightly hungry. Bud is spot on with 1.4 @ 6.1 imo

Thanks Bud, will try that. Same as my last grow I water/feed every other day as they're very slow to dry. Plenty of run off. Might go daily for a few days though to help flush through just in case

Water/feed daily....Dont worry about them drying out it's not an issue...Daily water/feeding = fresh oxygenated nutrient solution passing over the roots your plants will love it..

I upped the feed and the ph as suggested but now looking Nitrogen abundant (some dark green glossy leaves up top) so gonna drop back to 1.2 again.

Am not convinced my PH pen (plant !t) is working correctly so just ordered a new one, maybe the PH is out and that's the cause.

I calibrate regularly. The pen keeps jumping around like from 5.7 to 6.1 and hard to get it to settle on one reading.

My tap water is usually 6.4 so I add around 5 drops of PH down to the bucket of feed and that brings it to 6.1 then I add ph down 1 drop at a time till I get 5.8 but it's ending up needing 7 or 8 drops just to get there, I tend to give up at 5.9, surely it can't take 8+ drops to drop 0.2 points? Drop after drop and it just sits there at 6.1 or bounces around. I stir and stir so its not that

Never had issues with my previous grow, but then it wasn't used for about 4 months. I cleaned the probes, put fresh batteries in but it still plays up.

Too late anyway, already ordered new one, I'd rather feel confident I'm getting correct readings.
