As BG said the exo is a great example of foxtailing through genetics no matter what temps light etc she will foxtail. Then i have had a og foxtail from top to bottom just from overfeeding, i actually took cuts of it and grew out many times and it never foxtailed again although being subjected to many different types environment with just less feed.
If the foxtailing is just at the tops imo its the plant making its last ditch for life and of course genetics will play a big part of this.
But tbh if it smokes well who gives a ....

Pretty sure my biggest bud is foxtailing... it's way too close to the lights so that may have an impact. Still waiting to see pistils turning brown so I don't dare chop yet

That's my one foxtailing... just been reading up and its def caused by the light stress... next time I'll stay away from sativa and train better. So I know it'll have less potency but have yet to learn how much. If it's not worth keeping, is it worth chopping off?

That type of foxtail is . Some foxtails are much smoother . Just snip em off when chop is all

By smoother do you mean less pistils mate? Or would you chop the tails and keep the main bud underneath?
