Default Leaves Turning Purple in Flush

    Hi all,

Currently flushing my plants which are all Stardawg grown in Coco. They look good and I’m planning on bringing them down on weekend. Only thing is that the leaves are staring to turn purple. I’m aware that once you flush them it can change colour, it’s just that I’ve never had them turn purple before.

Is this okay or am I doing something wrong? If it is okay, is there anything I should still be cautious of or watch out for?

    Thanks!

phosphorus deficiency. Wouldn't worry as you're flushing and your plant is simply using the last of its nutrients. Pretty normal really.

cold temps below 18c normally do this. i do it on purpose to get the colours out.. flushing at sane time wont of helped either like those other two said. your better to wean your plants of feed for a week then do a 1 week flush pure water. keeps em healthy towards the end.

Some strains, typically the "Purps" (I wonder how that name came about?), have a tendency to leaves turning purple or blue-ish during flowering. It can be a deficiency (as mentioned above), colder temps (this is usually what brings out the colors), overfeeding... during flowering, the plant uses all of the stuff it has stored away. As the plants use these nutrients, the leaves usually yellow and might turn purplish as well. It is normal and might indicate a very slight deficiency... but I wouldn't mess with adding any nutrients at this point. Enjoy an early fall!!
