Say you have a meter square to grow in, a single plant in a 60L pot with a long veg time can veg out the same space as 4 plants in 15 pots in that area. That's my understanding anyway on photos

as the lovely lot said above
10 - 15lts fer autos due to their short veg time, bigger pots for photoperiods if you a want monster more roots more fruits.

that being said pablo grows autos in those big black recycle containers n gets stunners everytime.
skin it roll it lick it twist it.

But I agree with BB, round 10L is pretty much optimum for autos in both soil or coco
Bigger roots....bigger fruits as they say. 18ltr pots suits me for about 6 weeks veg

Well . In super soil . With a 7 gallon pot . I dont have to feed .

In coco im trying 5 gallon pots and its too big .

I have one in a 2 and 3 gallon standard pot and its just as big as the 5 gallon air pot . Feeds at same intervals . Uses 60% less nutrients

In coco theres no benefit to go above 3 gallon/11L pots . None whatsoever . Youll yave to feed multiple times a day no matter . So why not save on nutes and go smaller ....

In supersoil . When potted up in intervals .... bigger is better .

In Hydro ... Nope Sorry !!

Misconception....Folks think big pots = big plants = more bud...That's fine with photoperiod plants and you intend a long veg period. When canna starts to flower the hormones switch which makes the plant stop solely concentrating on root production and vegetative leaf growth and goes balls out into producing buds/flowers. The plant dont give a shit about the fact that we want a smoke its only purpose is to reproduce that's just the biological life cycle of the plant...If you keep a plant in a vegetative state it will just get bigger, in order for it to get bigger it needs to keep banging roots out ...The trick is to get full root occupancy of a given pot size without it becoming rootbound....A well rooted pot will suck out quickly whatever you pour in and will be much happier for it. A small root ball in a pot that's too big will remain wet/damp become stagnant and depleted of oxygen the plant will suffer....Autos are a different ball game but I reckon most will be happy in a 10 litre pot...
