    Hahahahaha sorry Gaffa

Im not good on whats considered too hot but given the reputation of the soil, its price and the evidence from the plant Im saying far too hot and start again IMO

I am doing a trial and am attaching three pictures of a young plant that I switched to 12/12 a couple of weeks ago. It is a 1m x 1m x 2m grow tent with a compost/perlite mix with a 600w HPS lamp. Panel heater in tent but not set to tropical temperature. Small clip fan. No extractor fan - but have one coming in the next week. I haven't fed the plant and (I think) haven't overwatered it, but happy to be proved wrong. Any help much appreciated and have a nice day everyone!

600w HPS lamp, panel heater and no extraction ? How close is that lamp ? What's the temp in your tent ? Can you take pics in natural light ?

    Regards BL

thanks Gaz. I think i'll pop into my local nursery and get a decent compost from them - and ask their advice. It will cost a fair bit more i'm sure but it will be worth it.

last pic posted was natural light. I keep the HPS well up but have been told that CFL might be better for small plants. I have this also so will try that next. EXtractor fan on the way. Process of elimination!!

Id get yourself to the local hydro and get yourself some biobizz light mix to start some new ones in mate

Once theyre ready to be potted up you can use B&Q verve which is about £4 for 50L or some Canna Terra Pro for about £15
