    Default Maybe a humidity issue?

My current grow is my first attempt,(not even planned) at SCROG. The canopy literally covers the 80x80 space and i notice just now, after waterng it this morning, the humidity reading under the canopy is at 71 while above it generally stays around 50, is/can this cause issues? Ive thinned out the foliage under the canopy and have a fan both under and above the canopy. Only into week 1 nearly 2 of flower as the fkr was supposed to be an auto but had to flip it on day 60. Just worried that beneath may become more susceptible to mold and other nasties.

You can’t do much more than you are doing with a fan underneath them apart from a dehumidifier.
    It's nice to be nice.

You could strip anything under the canopy if it isnt getting much light. If the leaves arent getting enough light they dont contribute to photosynthesis, just transpire so cause humidity to rise. Atleast thats what Allison Justice says on Tad Husseys podcast

Reckon the issue is more that youve added water into the pots and the canopy is keeping it below rather than spreading evenly. Without seeing your canopy im not sure but could you thin it out to let the air flow better?

Thankfully the humidity beneath the canopy,(after a little more defoliation) has dropped to 58 so definitely moving in the right direction.

Looking very nice mate, pulled off a good scrog there I tell people all the time to add salt pots to the bottom if humidity is too high. 50% is pretty much bang on. I've known peeps who flower at 60% rh and had no issues with mold lol but I'm always cautious when it comes to flower haha

My room is regular 60-65 lights off ,a lot of the year tbh ,never had an issue ,I've had the odd bud over the years but usually down to me ripping leaf of being lazy or a blind spot from the fans,During flower I bypass my fan controller and run extraction and intake on full power 24/7
