Just been reading the stickied 'organic hydroponics' thread - nice post btw, anyhow i was thinking how i grow my other 'fruiting' plants as well as my weed.

When i grow squashes/courgettes and eating pumpkins i grow them in a small pot till they burst, usually a 1.5L, then i dont transplant, i cut the bottom of the pot, and put it all in the ground, this way you target the feeding roots with your fertlizers - in the small pot area, and water the moisture roots around the plant. Lots of fruiting plants have grow directions suggesting this. I also tend to pour my nutes around the stem of my MJ plants, wheras when i water, i tend to water the whole pot - anybody had any other thoughts on this?
