Pimp my reflector

I think sometimes people look and there brains don't kick into gear right away. I expect as soon as he seen it he thought "oh well to late"

However I love this shade and I was thinking of trying this with 2 x 600watt HPS or 2 x 400watt HPS, what do you think...?

I guess it could be done but as Mellow says you will have to address the heat build up under the reflector. The other thing I would be scared of is using the wood with HPS, I wouldn't feel safe knowing that two really hot running lights were attached to a piece of plywood.

I'm not so sure that would be an issue as the heat of the bulb is away from the wood, and will rise. It would have to be tested to be sure though, you could well be right m8. Definatley metal would be a better idea, if only to be on the safe side.
