plant odour

Hi all,i'm just about to start my first grow and i'm a tad concerned about the noise of my in line extracter fan so i'm not going to use it until plants start chucking up,i realise it probably depends on strain but when does a plant start to smell strong ? I'm starting my career off with RRF is this a stinky one? many thanks

RRF? not sure man but sum smell in veg others dont smell at all, well not strong enuf to notice outa the grow room... play by ear/nose and see how it goes

Whats RRF?

Most strains really start to kick up a pong during last two weeks. Especially when you give them the chop... Stinks your house out like making cannabutter lol

mine are 4 weeks in to veg and really starting to pong! i was in the tent for 2 minutes the otehr day and then nipped to sainsburys, i bumped into a mate of mine and he said fuck me you stink of skunk and at that point id not had a spliff, anyway today i went and got myself some ona blockers and there smelly as fuck, ill be going to check what the smells like in my unit tomorrow
