Default Leaves dying and falling off bottom of plant

Hi there, I have a little cupboard that i have turned in to a grow room, I have 5 plants in there so it is a bit tight. The room is approx 60cm squared. They started off growing really nice and have grown really tall but now the bottom leaves are drying and falling off. Now i think this is due to lack of light at the bottom of the plants but have spoke to other people that have had plants a little over crowded but this has never happened. Does anyone have any feed back as to why this may be happening.
    Thanks

a pic of the grow will help,if they are tightly packed that is something that will happen.if you are still in veg you can trim the lower growth to allow the plant to redirect its energy to the tops where it is receiving adequate light........pics always help
if you're retired or you ain't got a job and you ain't growing and smoking weed ,i don't know what the fuck you are doing!

Are you in veg or flower ? If you in flowering then it nothing to worry about if the plants yellowing from the bottom up . Just give the leaves a gentle pull and they'll come off when they're ready .
If your in veg then its possibly some sort of deficiency or over feeding etc , but its hard to say without a picture or more info , light medium , nutes , ph of water etc etc
