Hi folk
I'm sure this question has been asked countless times, however, ...which is the most effective air cleaner available ? i.e. getting rid of tell tale smell. I don't want to spend a fortune either !

Grab yourself a carbon filter along with a decent fan & some ducting to suit & you're in business.

Midnights already given you the sensible option, but depending on what you consider a fortune you might want to take a look around for a used vapotek unit. To buy one new would not see much change from £200, but for that you get something that will eliminate any trace of fishy odours.



I've thought about investing in one myself, but have always gone with a carbon scrubber. Maybe that'll change as the next one I buy would be my 3rd!
So, in the long run a Vaportek could work out as less damaging on the pocket.

I made my own for about 35 quid including fan (but without a ducting system. Google DIY carbon filter. Works pretty well and has lots of positive feedback. I have no problems with smell at the moment. I only have 2 plants, but am 4 weeks into flower. It's *really* easy to build.
