Default Can you use jiffy pellets in a bubbler.

    Hi everyone

Just wanted to clarify if the above question is right, can you use jiffy pellets in a bubbler,if you got a rooted clone but its in a jiffy pellet would it cause any problems in the res if you put it in a net pot and covered it with the clay pebbles then stuck it in bubbler.
Has anyone used jiffy pellets in a bubbler and did it cause any problems with PH or EC readings.

    Thankyou..

yes they can mate..they are a good way of growing in hydro with clay pebbles..they stay in place but try to get a inch wide or larger one..I didnt use anything I just rooted my clone in water with a airstone and just placed the roots 3 inches deep on top of the pebbles in a netpot..

Someone on here said that you should cut off the mesh from around the jiffy pellet when you're puttin it in the bubbler.
Apparently it can restrict root growth if left on. Makes sense to me.
    Hope this helps
