I searched for half an hour to find the guide to renaming a link. I cant really explain what i mean. eg. you can link your diary in your sig, but instead of the HTML tag, you can call it 'fred blogs' the thing is i dont know what its called to search properly, and i have looked at all the stickies.

Can it be stickied if its found again? Or if its there i am way too stoned and i should give in...

when you click insert link it says http://

then you enter your link e.g www.thctalk.com
it then gives you this [ URL="https://www.thctalk.com"]https://www.thctalk.com[/URL ] (i have put a space at each end to stop it from changing to a link.)

The bit i have coloured in red is the bit you change to what you want it to say. eg if i type thct it will look like this thct

if i leave it normal it looks like this https://www.thctalk.com

Or you can type something, then highlight it, push the little globe with the chain infront of it, and type your link

Can the 3 instructional posts on this mini thread be seperated, and added together and stickied for reference? It doesn't require my waffle, just the plain, ans simple instructions. BTW i get it now Pink_Tiger...Doh!

i always just type whatever i want te link called for example...."cocks poo runs" - then highlight it - then hit the insert link button and it does it automaticlly for ya

Ah I never thought of that lol. I used to type my own on a gamer forum years ago
