I've never left it in direct sunlight, but I have left it outside in the shade, with a nice breeze it takes about two hours. A better way to go would be boil up a pot water put it outside and place your container in it. The heat from the water and the breeze outside should cut down the time to about 30-45 mins.

Remember it also depends on temp\humidity outdoors, how much ISO needs to be evaporated and % of the ISO used).

I usually do a second run with the same trim it's not as potent or as tasty as the first run but still does the job. It's also better than some crap you get on the street

The second run I leave for about 30 mins shaking every 10 mins.

This is what you get after filtering it (notice how the color is a transparent green)

All the crap the coffee filter stops

Here's the final product, as you can see it's alot softer and sticky, you cant really roll it on your fingers. The best thing to do with this is throw it in the freezer and just take a piece whenever you need it, it keeps you hands cleaner.

If anyone makes any QWISO hash, post some pics of your end product

    Cheers

Just pour boiling water into another pot, and put the Pyrex or plate resting on top of the hot water (away from the stove because of pilot light and somewhere with good ventilation) . If you have a fan point it right on top of the ISO it will be done quick.

If you leave it out in your house to evaporate on it's own it takes about 2 days for it to fully evaporate .

If done properly you won't hurt yourself.

In my old house I had a gas stove and all I used to do was boil water first then pour it into my bowl and place the ISO filled container on top. I never use to have a fan so I used to get a plastic plate and fan it so it would evaporate quicker. LOL . It would be done in 20-30 mins like that, it's as safe as you make it really.

    Open flame, ISO = NO

Do you have to use a coffee filter or would a piece cut off a old t-shirt for instance do the trick ?

Guessing it would be ok, but any view ?
