[New Age Outlaw]

The new film of Howard Marks is out on October 8th, the site is now up and running.

Looking forward to this for a few reasons, I'm hoping to use my first crop to make some cookies with and go to the cinema for the first time in years, I've never been baked in public, so planning on making this my first. lol

Also, this will bring the old herb to the forefront of public interest again, it could do some good for the cause. Anyway, the site:

Just watched the trailer. Looks like it should be a good film.
Rhys Ifans is a brilliant actor and should suit the role very well

new age outlaw on ur other thread ur on about an iolite , why don't u take that to the movie , cookies fuck u quite bad IMO but if u never been stoned in public then the iolite willbe spot on , that's the only thing I use in public any thing else is to strong and to much for me.

Does look a good film eh? I love Rhys Ifans too, he should do a sterling job of it. I think this will push up the profile of weed too, when Saving Grace came out, weed became a funny thing once more.

The site has a smuggling game on it, will have a crack at that later, imagine how cool it would be if a THCtalk member won the grand prize! It'll be poetic.

I saw Rhys Ifans at the Monty Python thing at the Albert Hall last year. (I was at the backstage party, Daahrlings, wasn't simply everyone?) Didn't speak but I beamed a smile at him when I caught his eye & he raised a glass & smiled back. Good enough for me. After all I'm not gonna compete in the interest stakes when he's with Kiera fucking Knightly, now am I? I reckon he'd be a right laugh to go on the piss with, if a bit expensive. (He's a fighter too, when he's pissed, so I'd run away from that, being a coward, like.)

Loved the Mr Nice books & hope they can catch the tone right with the film. I have high hopes.

That was through my very best M8 - close relative of a Python. He'd come over from Oz where he lives now & invited me along cos his wife didn't want to go. (I suspect she wanted me to go with him cos we're total Python bores the two of us, grew up with it. But his Mum & Dad (the Python's brother) were there too & it was wonderful to see his Mum going up to Eric Idle & hugging him as a friend she hadn't seen in ages. (These people all partied together in the late 60s/early 70s) It was a lot of fun.

I got kissed by Carol Cleveland!!! Was well happy with that!*

Nesaha, I love python, especially the films, never appreciated them until the last ten years, you really have to "get" them eh? That's a great story though, I'm quite frankly jealous. Great stuff mate. I confess, the Carol Cleveland I am going to have to google.
