Default Its about time that the UK laws on cannabis were changed!

How outdated is prohibition in today's society? Especially with cannabis, which is a safer alternative to both alcohol and tobacco (and even if you smoke with tobacco in your joints its YOUR choice about how you treat YOUR body anyway).

I've noticed a lot more media attention lately, and hopefully this could mean some changes are coming. I just hope England get a version of Obama, someone who has the balls to make the changes we need in the foreseeable future.

I discuss this further on my blog (link in signiture), but what are everybody else's views on this subject? Pure legalization, toleration or legalization and taxation?

Full legalization will never happen because of what will happen to the economy maybe it will help or just bring the goverment down even tho i want david cameron to legalize it but i think if they cant legalize it fully they should atleast legalize it to anyone who grows in there own home that dosent sell it also a few medical skunk pharmacy's like they have in the usa But overall Legalize It!!!

just a touch.. youre on a growing site, full of stoners and youre asking what they think about laws on cannabis??? look at the obvious maybe?? that way you can answer your own question yourself for everybody on here and save them the time of giving you the same kind of answer over and over.

Sorry guys for asking an obvious question, i was just trying to start posting, i will take more care to look before I post in the future.. and as for the signiture, i didnt think it was spamming? I'm just want to get as much publicity on the issues as possible so we can push for the laws to be changed!

I also agree, but a toleration/taxation system would help the economy rather than hinder it
