This box I designed is 2ftwide, 5ft long, 5ft tall.
And fits pretty snug with pretty good space to operate in.
In the top left hand corner, there is an exhaust fan hooked up to a lightswitch, which in term is also wired to my lights.
The mylar is fixed by the way, it just came a lil loose.
Which the back of the exhaust fan is hooked a 3inch by 8ft aluminum duct tube, and runs out my closet door to my three speed box fan, which pushes the warm air out of the room through the window.
Lately I've had problems with keeping it under 80 degree's, especially when the weather here gets 90-100, and 100+. The AC units does not reach our back bedrooms, and the manager of the apartments we live in, will not let us put a ac unit in the window, or even a fan, so your only option is a portable ac unit, or cheap efficient ways to keep your box cool.
Currently, since today was a rainy muggy day, it dropped tremendously from what its normally at, its normally at 20-30% Humidity with 80-100% fehernhiet. Which I dunno of a good way to drop it down 20 degree's so it stays stable.
Currently there are two fans placed within my growbox, one a high/low speed .35 amp speed fan, and the other a .3 amp one speed fan, to keep the air circulating and keep it by the exhaust fan to push it out.
And back to the lights, I am currently using two t8 fixtures with two daylight 6500k t8 bulbs and two 3000k warm white t8 bulbs for the veg state.
Once I get a lil more money, I'm going to invest into a HP sodium light and a more effiecient venting system.
Let me know what you guys think.
I'm mostly trying to drop the temp from 90's down to the 70's, without raising the heat or using too much money.
