    Default FAKE lumatek ballasts

    hello all

    could some one tell me if there are fake lumatec ballasts going round

    I ordered one from a hydro shop in manchester it came in the post but does not look look like other lumatek ballasts it is a 600w dimmable digital ballast

    iv seen these in my local hydro shop and also seen them in a gold colour, these look spot on mate

    for getting back so quick
    I have got a lumatek 400w ballast and its purple all lumateks are purple but what got me is the bit were you hard wire it in see on the second pic i cant find any more pics on the internet of this style lumatek

    Have seen these on ebay, how much you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

    i paid £100 plus £8.95 delivery its from ebay but he has a hydro shop in manchester

    thats why ai bought it thought £100 was a good price but i dont know some think is not quite right what do u think

    arent most kettleplug? looks wierd and smells fishy

    i reckon its right mate, im good friends with a chap who owns a hydro shop in manchester and if any was going about i should imagine he will know, ill ask him for ya and see if he knows of them going about

    I think that you will find that the one you have is the 2009 model, the 2010 model is slimmer and a little more expensive about £130

    as a13x said all the one's i have seen come with a kettle plug type not hard wired like this one i don't know it does not seem right can anyone find a lumatek with a hard wire bit like mine cos i cant any were

    I realise im bringing up and old thread here well not that old but.....

    Is this from homehydroponics2010 on ebay or
    Dutch Hydroponics Superstore
    Broadfield Farm
    Pilsworth Road
    Heywood

    As ive been looking at these too, they seem the cheapest on the net
