Okies last two pics these till i can get round to digging out the other SD card full of pics!

These two pics are of two Saddus ive now know for over 10 years each, there right up there with some of the most honest what you see is what you get ppl in my life.

Neither can out smoke me tho, even if they try it on with rice wine and there best rubed hash they have, lub the pair of em to bits tho allways will.

    "Om Namah Shivaya"

It means "I bow to Shiva." Shiva is the supreme reality, the inner Self. It is the name given to consciousness that dwells in all. Shiva is the name of your true identity- your self.

According to Hindu mythology there are three Gods who run this creation. The Brahma - who creates the universe, the Vishnu - who preserves the Universe and the Shiva- who in the end destroys the universe. Among the three deities, Shiva, though considered as destroyer, also symbolize the - the inner self which remains intact even after everything ends.

In this mantra the chanter (one who repeats the mantra) bow to Shiva- his true self.

Om Namah Shivay is a very powerful mantra. It has been said about this mantra that if this mantra vibrates continually in your heart, then you have no need to perform austerities, to meditate, or to practise yoga. To repeat this mantra you need no rituals or ceremonies, nor must you repeat it at an auspicious time or in a particular place." This mantra is free of all restrictions. It can be repeated by anyone, young or old, rich or poor and no matter what state a person is in, it will purify him.

Repeat 'Om Namah Shivay', with the feeling that you are bowing to Shiva - your true inner self. Repeat this mantra with respect. The inner self is the form of God in you. So as you say ' Om Namah Shivay' i.e. "I bow to Shiva'; you are actually bowing to God - The great almighty. The repetition of the name of God is equivalent to be merged in his very being. When you repeat God's name in your mouth, in one way, you experience the God itself. Just repeat this mantra with faith and it's powerful phonetic vibrations will start doing miracle for you.

Think what you want, most think im a nutter, but my life is sweet as, is yours?

Man this is awesome, really cool pics Bet you had a great time there. Looks a really cool place to go. You got any vids from there mate? Would be cool to heard the sounds aswell as seeing the sights, get a full feel of the atmosphere.

I notice there look to be a couple of different "groups" of people (those with the bald heads, those with the turbans and those with the dreadlocks), are they from different areas or something?

Aye what you actually see in the pics is 2 diffrent sects!, but both are followers of Shiva!

The one with dreads (saddus) are seen by hindu socity as the untouchables, most hindus fear them, there seen as what we would call a tramp in europe, obviously there far from it, and without a doubt the closest you can get to a true Shiva devotie, the ones with the shaved heads are like the holyest of the holy, they dont pass anything down unless your born into being a Brahma, they wright nothing down its all passed in speech and songs learnt/taught from a age of 5 or 6, some of the chants they sing are over 5000 years old, its a very closed sect the Brahma sect, to be fully part of it and into it you simply have to be born into it, its there whole life from birth to death if your born into the Brahma, there are without doubt the most spiritual enlightend ppl on this planet by far!

Brahmas speak and write in sanskrit, its the language all languages stem from, latin and greek take many words from this ancient text, only westerners have a huge problem trying to understand this text as outsiders are generaly not welcome.

I do not have any Brahma friends, they tolorate westerners but dont abide us!
To them we are a corupte lost in our ways race!

True Shivites are diffrent, some of the nicest, out for nothing people ive ever met.

Your ave hindu will warn you of shivites/saddus and how they will rob you, none of its true imo there true holy men, not one has ever wronged me, they just live a simple life with no attatchments to familys, loners for want of a better word that love a good smoke, ive learnt a lot from saddus over the years, and they are freindly ppl with a lot to offer if you take time out to get to know them !

India is a magical place rammed with some very free thinking special minds,TBH in the west we have got it all wrong big time, and we could learn so much from these free thinkers in the east if our stupid western egos would allow us so, but the western powers that be seemingly must march onwards regardles of human rights really, kinda dog eat dog syndrome.

I could go on for hours about it all, but its best ya take a look and make ya own minds up.

Who am i to tell anybody what to do or how to live, just let me live the way i want im not hurting a soul, so leave me be.
