What type of intake/extraction are you using and are you running them at lights off?
What stage of gow are you at? prop, veg, flower?
Where is your growspace..bedroom, garage, loft?

Do you have fresh air coming into the tent? or are you using the air from indoors for intake and extracting outside?
Depends where it is aswell, if it's somewhere next to central heating when lights are off then that could be a cause of the high humidity.

you can try covering the top of the pots with something, this should help reduce, try tinfoil or something like that

Sounds strange that. Anytime i've brought fresh air from outside through intake i've never had a problem with humidity.
Even with a drop in temperature, usually fresh air 'in' solves humidity problems.
Mind you I only grow in soil so wouldn't know about hydro and if that has an effect on humidity itself, in fact can someone answer that aswell.

temps when light is on in day is 78f-80f and when off at night around 69-70f. what about if i buy a dehumidifier and put it in my tent will it work much. also my plants are in 15 litre pots but the roots have filled the pots so repotting to 30 litre pots will this make it even worse? and the runoff i remove this from the tent as soon as i water my plants.
