Question Hi all new to the growing lark ! ;) quick problem to check !

first of all hello all im a noob to all this and just really want a confirmation to the problem i have. I have 600wt light over 3 pots which had cutting put in that were 5 weeks old, a mate passed them on to give me a head start!

the problem i noticed a few days ago was the leaves hooking under which i believe is down to overfeeding, but i also have another strange thing that i hope is down to the same culprit. The fan leaves near the top of the plant (which would have been new shoots when the hooking started) have taken on a leathery dark green look and are 'V'd up at both sides if you get what i mean. i hope its down to the feeding i i think when these went in 2 1/2 weeks ago i was feeding them from the start in new soil (plagron light mix) now should i have let the plants drain the soil of nutrients before i started feeding or not? as i think this may have been the cause.

The plants are still growing well but just have this problem with the latest leaves. I am on week 2 of flowering and using plant magic root stim and soil bloom.

    thanks for your help

The clawing comes from nitrogen over feeding, cut back on the nutes and only give them plain water for a week, the clawing will not go away, after a week go back to half strength nutes. As for the other problem, it is due to heat, how far away is the light from the top of the plants?

thanks for the replies peeps, the leathery canoed leaves are due to heat! the light now is up as high as it will go about 0.8m previously the closest i have been keeping the light is at about 0.5m

not sure on the temps as going to get min max temp gauge over the next couple of days but highest temp i would say not a great deal warmer than the room when the light is on somewhere around 24-27 and vent is on 24/7 lights are on through the night so not getting too cold with night air , as they sleep during the day and are in an internal cupboard.

    thanks

am i also correct in thinking that this overfeed on the nitrogen is also keeping my plant in veg state delaying the buds! will this still be ok and will i just end up with large plants going into flowering?

sorry about all the Q's but i obviously dont want these to waste

    thanks
