    Question Back crossing ?

    Hi ppl, probs a stupid nube question but....what do ppl mean when their on about back crossing to stabalise a strain ?
    Whats back crossing ?

    Back-crossing is were you take the offspring (f1,f2,f3 and so on it doesn't matter)of the original hybrid and breed it with 1 of the original (P1) parent plants wether there male or female it doesn't matter and this is done to stabilise the traits you bred the original hybid for wether it be potentcy,flavor/aromas,plant height,flowering time,bud formation and so on.

    I hope that helps you understand it a bit more.
